An Opinion

To be honest, I am not a huge admirer of the late Senator. I fully applaud his commitment to Civil Rights and tenure in the Senate...but....

I can only hope someone is waiting for him , standing beside St. Peter at the Pearly Gates.

With all due respect to his family, there is another family long forgotten.

If you are not familiar with the picture of the young lady, that's understandable. Many people under the age of 40 do not know her name or the circumstances of her drowning death in 1969 .

While some think of the Kennedy's, my thoughts today are with the Kopechne's.

Rest in Peace Mary Jo .

Ciao,

Aunty Pol
